Another day of milling

Yesterday couldn't have gone any better, the sun was out, the weather was sweet and we cut some beautiful wood! There was some more ash, maple and two different kinds of elm. The elm has such interesting grain pattern and we are very excited to get working with these slabs, don't forget to get your orders in before its too late!

Red oak, dark stain

We have had the opportunity to experiment with stains on our oak and have completed a beautiful dinning room table. The legs were created by a very talented metal worker named Frank Ripley. These are available for order, size height and stain completely up to you.

more projects, bigger shop

We are very pleased to announce that we have unofficially moved into a newer, much bigger shop!!  more space to move, more space to be inspired.  lots of exciting stuff coming down the pipe... we have partnered with the barn board store which is an outlet that sells used barn boards from all over ontario.

Pictures of the shop and an official opening party are to come, so stay tuned.

In other news, between fixing up the shop we have completed a few more projects.

Oak Railing

Another project that we got to combine old and new oak.

Mantel Piece

We've recently built a mantel piece for a client.  We used a few of our own pieces of red oak along with some salvaged oak from the original mantel and some purchased oak plywood.
